Family owned and operated micro poultry farm, working to provide pasture-raised chicken meat and free-range eggs to our local community here in Hamilton Co.
Year round our laying flock is kept free-range on pasture under the protection of our livestock guardian dogs. The hens produce a variety of sizes(medium to extra large), and colors (light to medium brown, blue & green tones). Eggs are sold by the dozen.
Our pasture-raised meat birds are traditional Cornish Cross chickens. They are only raised from spring to fall, when the pasture is at its best for grazing. All meat items are priced per pound. Whole chickens on average weigh 3.5-5.5 lbs. Cut, ground, and organ packages weigh typically 0.90-1.5 lbs. *All weights can vary and prices are subject to change.
In addition to grazing, all birds are fed a ration of non-medicated & hormone/steroid-free feed from a local mill. Processing for meat is done by a Indiana state licensed facility. Orders can be placed through direct correspondence via email, call or text, social media messaging (Facebook or Instagram), purchased in person at The Cicero Farmers Market (durning market season), or at our farm stand (limited dates and times will be posted on socials).
